G rich jack ... it arouses anything like my it's a wonderful life ... always plays around christmas time will now you don't have to wait for to come to a tv near you ... go to the chattanooga theater center and find a new adaption on certainly ... one of the most up classic ... holiday christmas movies ever.

Chuck total is here and chuck i the director of it's a wonderfu life, a live radio play ... , chuck told the morning ... morning to you.

Most people know this as a movie.

Of course, featuring jimmy stewart, a whole cast of other folks ... , yet you guys are taking this in kind of a new direction.

Tell me how and tell me why ... well ... , the how is the script calls it to be a radio play ... a live radio play ... is not a live radio play.

We go to do so.

We have a ... that looks like a ... radio studio of 1946 ... .

So it's very vintage and actors come in ... and each of monday the actors of our play have an actor characte that they ... like and then those characters do radio acting as various characters from it's a wonderfu life.

Two of them do just georgia marion and the other ... three care doctors plate ... all the other characters ... in the story and some of them have between 10 and 14 characters.

The way ... vocally, which they do in front of a microphone so that ... the how and why we do it as we were looking for some way to bring this to the community without well in better words, infecting all the actors right so we had to be able to sociall distance them and keep them apart ... .

Sewer microphones are 6 feet apart and everywhere they are there.

There being 60 to parts that we can actually have this ... happen without anyone eating in serious danger ... .

One thing a lot of folks don' realize is being a radio geek and student ... of the medium for decades back when radio was in its infancy, sound effects were improvised and gone on the fly yet.

It sounded absolutely seamless.

How are you doing the sound effects today during the year 2020 ... .

Just like they did back in th 1940s ... .

We are doing it like they did back in the 1940s.

We have various ... things we have a foley artist and she has a table and and diaries.

A lot of people don't know what a foley artist please explain ... a foley artist disintegrates ... down basically and you'll see them sometimes i'm not in the titles ... movies and today ... most of those guys are the ones to go out and find the sounds o the make the movie work orally ... through sound ... so ours are using a lot of different things to make sounds.

We have one point clarence goes into the water to st.

George an george dyson after him ... .

So we have a big tub of water and couple of plungers to get that ... sound and then the microphones pick that up and then when the first one leader not was a car door because of course respect and ... different than cars now ... and finding her doors and getting them into a onstage wit his little heart.

So we found a filing ... very close in the foley artist really worked on that and they can forget sound out of it ... .

So that was one of the big ones.

We also have a sweet machine ... that we found online how to build we built out so there's a lot of different things to do, but it's all can be live and ... they'll be doing all the sounds of ... fun watching it happen.

I told lindsay last night ... created new health ... race because she really gets a workout, you are really ... reinforcing the old adage that the radio was ... and that's just from the sound effects ... aspect of this and then you got actors as you mentioned a momen ago.

Some of whom were playing 1012 ... different characters scott 14th challenge for you as a director ... and a challenge for the actors as well ... will i say i have an easier than they do ... their very good actors for small ... we had 70 actors that were just just so hungry to do anything that they really came out to to do this plan, so i got very good actors to do it ... .

All i do is tell them whether it sounds different enough to where people get confused as to what characters which is that sometimes they're playing ... up to 34 characters in the same scene ... all by themselves ... .

Routing is defined as the sounds out ... well it's just it.

It's phenomenal.

All we only have 30 seconds left.

I know around our house ... with tears start flowing toward you is the audience to leave the ... chattanooga theater center with the same warm fuzzy ... feeling after your productions ... well i certainly hope so.

That's the goal you know 2020 really sucked, and we thought this was a good way to take it out and get people to show that's about redemption and about community coming together and about the sacrifice.

One ma will do ... for the community we are leasing character.
