New tonight - owensboro public schools finalizing plans to help students improve their grades during virtual learning.

The district kicking off a campaign to help engage parents and students - in response to recent reports of an unusually high number of students with failing grades.

According to o- p-s -- there has been a 25- percent increase among middle school students -- with at least one f.

The school plans to send learning videos to parents and students- to show them ways to keep track of their students progress.

They are also implementing more zoom meetings to offer students extra help.
