California is on the brink of a new stay-at-home order that applies if a region's intensive care unit capacity drops below 15%.

California is on the brink of a new stay-at-home order that would close businesses and curb travel in regions that could see hospitals overwhelmed by coronavirus patients.

Restrictions apply if a region's intensive care unit capacity drops below 15 percent... the order would close salons, breweries and wineries ... reduce retail store capacity ... and ban private gatherings of any size restaurants could only do takeout and delivery.
