New coffee shop opens in Huntsville amid economic crisis

The transportation industry added the most jobs.
That brought the u-s unemployment rate to just under seven percent.
A new coffee shop brought new jobs to north huntsville.
Waay-31's bridget divers is outside dark side coffee with a look at how a bussiness opening during the padnemic is going....bridget.... dan, najahe -- this coffee shop has been open since november 16th and since then the owners have seen a lot of customers come get coffee and food from them.
Four people co-own the coffee shop, including huntsville city council member, devyn keith.
And the shop employees eleven people -- adding new jobs to the community during the coronavirus pandemic.
The owners known opening a small business is challenging - especially in the middle of the pandemic, but they've seen a lot of support.
"we've been blessed throughout the process and had a lot of support from the community.
And ultimately, they're the reason we opened the coffee shop.
We want to be able to offer a nice meeting space for the community."
The coffee shop is following all coronavirus guidelines and even has hand sanitizers on all the tables inside for customers to use.
