KY preparing for vaccine 12.4.20

Governor Beshear has asked schools to begin compiling lists of faculty willing to take a coronavirus vaccine.

Is asking superintendents... to start preparing for the distribution, of the covid-19 vaccine... to teachers and other staff members.

According to his office..

During a virtual call today..

The governor asked superintendents.... to begin preparing rosters... of school personnel....who are willing to be vaccinated, although no date has been set yet, on when educators would be getting the vaccines.

Beshear expects the pfizer two-dose vaccine.... to become available by december 15.

Two weeks later, the state will receive a shipment of the moderna vaccinations.

Educators and e-m-s workers will be vaccinated after healthcare workers....and nursing home residents and staff.

Says..

Everyone should try harder to stay safe from the virus, while we wait, for the vaccines to arrive.
