The national weather service first issued that warning sunday afternoon.

Butte county public works will be performing vegetation removal on cherokee road, north and east of the city of oroville.

Work hours are planned to be monday through friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm..

And are set to last until the end of the month..

Drivers should expect one lane traffic and up to 10 minute delays..
