Gov.

Tate Reeves advises Mississippians to wear masks, avoid crowds and “be smart.”

Tate reeves put more counties in the magnolia state under a mask mandate?

You may ask that question after reading one of his tweets he posted today.

It said he'll have an update on his executive order later this week -- that order is where he makes the mask mandates.

And in case you don't remember, here's a look at all of the local counties that are under the masking order.

Basically, every county is under it except for four -- clay, webster, calhoun and grenada.

At the moment, more than half of mississippi's counties are under the mask mandate.

But remember, that's not the only thing his executive order calls for in these counties.

The other part of his order has to do with groups coming together where people cannot stay at least six feet apart from one another.

You can have no more than ten people at a public or private gathering in a single indoor space.

When outside, it's no more than 50 people.

This restriction applies to the counties under his mask mandate.

It does not apply to churches although state health officer doctor thomas dobbs recommended no more in-person services while we're dealing with the wave of cases linked to the thanksgiving holiday.

By the way, the governor's executive order expires friday.

Until he updates it, here's his advice -- wear a mask., avoid crowds, be smart, protect loved ones.
