I'm here in monroe county at worthy tree farm and you can see it right back behind me the field is almost completely empty just a few trees left.

I did speak with the co-owner today and he says they have almost completely sold out of trees this year.

Lowell worthy- co owner "around 1300 prepared to sell this year, we still haven't got the final count" most of the trees still up are pre-tagged trees people have already bought and are waiting to put up in their house.

Shoppers come from all around to pick out their christmas tree.

"we generally like a 2 hour from amory hatley area" worthy says it is a family experience to pick out the christmas tree and he saw many new faces this year.

"just kind of be together with your family not have to worry about the rush, just have fun."

Workers have already started preperations for next years trees.

"for every tree we cut, we plant one back in it's place."

The christmas tree farm does sell more than just christmas trees they have a gift shop we can get any of those last-minute christmas gifts for anyone in your family.
