Barbara vasser is the deputy clerk for the city of aberdeen.

For years, now she has helped a lot of kids have a merry christmas by way of an angel tree program.

She was happy to report this year all forty-six of some area angels will have a merry christmas after a local businessman picked up four angels from the tree today.

"great news for the kids for christmas" barbara vasser is the deputy clerk for the city of aberdeen.

She says a local businessman picked up the last four angels from the angel tree here, not long before we arrived with our camera.

"we got rid of our four angels that were left today.

We had forty -six angels on the tree.

And i thank everybody for participating and getting them off."

"the tree is bare and we are here and everybody is supposed to bring them back by friday."

Standup vassar said the toys will be given away on december the 18th.

She said she will only allow eight to ten people in here at a time because of the pandemic ."

"so we will distribute the gifts on the eighteenth.

So we call the parents and tell them what time to come so that everybody won't be here at the same time.

So we are doing that and city hall is excited."

The deputy clerk said this year the children have asked for a variety of gifts for christmas and they will give the gifts away , once again, on december 18th starting at 2:00 in the afternoon here at aberdeen city hall.
