The chico city council will meet to declare the results of the november 3rd election - and swear in new members.

Business items on tonight's agenda include discussion of a new system to handle public records requests and providing the dowtown chico business association with a new truck.

Discussions will focus on outlining requirements for pole and over-head wire removal.

Prosecutors say johnnny osby shot at two men in the parking lot of the nord gardens apartments in chico, back in april..

Killing one man and injuring the other.

He is facing a number of charges including of murder and assault families of those killed and wounded in the 2017 rancho tehama shooting are suing the manufacturers of "ghost gun" kits..

Those kits include parts with which someon can create a weapon*an* those are difficult to track and register..

Investigators say the rancho tehama shooter, kevin neal, used chost gun parts to make the unregistered rifle used in that shooting rampage.

Beginning thursday - californians can opt into a smartphone app with the ability to alert them to possible covid infection.

People can download the app and opt-in to be notified if they have been exposed to the virus.

State health reps say the app does not track identities or locations.
