That's next.

They are debilitating, and in fact, up to 1 billion people worldwide, while there's no cure for migraines, certain treatments and preventive measures can help.

And the here to share how she measures her illness, actress tori spelling, who is donna martin on beverly hills 90210.

Thank you, and happy to chat with a you.

Happy holidays.

Migraines, not just a headache.

Exactly, thank you.

That's the most misunderstood thing about it.

People that don't get migraines are just like oh, you just have a bad headache, it's no big deal, take a moment and you'll come back.

And you can't make a comeback.

Not that you can't, i couldn't make a comeback until i started taking odt, and it's horrific, i've been suffering from migraines over 25 years, and it's hard to find something that works for you.

And i searched my whole life, trying to find that.

Because it takes you out of the game.

Out of work, out of family life.

I've missed important occasions.

I missed one of my son's preschool graduations because i had such a debilitating migraine that you can't function.

And it's not a choice, and that's a big message to people.

It's not a choice.

It's so debilitating, it takes over physically, mentally and emotionally and you're left struggling not knowing what to do.

You said you started noticing that you were getting migraines 25 years ago and what are some of the signs of what is a migraine like for you?

For me, there are definitely triggers.

There are menstrual triggers, food allergy triggers, and stress.

Stress for me is the number one trigger of my migraines, and you know what?

Sometimes it just kim out of the blue with no warning but i definitely found with nertekodt thatiful able to get my life back.

What and you tray before that?

Everything, oh, my god, i could sit down with pen and paper and give you a list of doctors, neurologists, physicians, i tried every medication out there.

I tried preventives.

This is not a presentive, it's not acute medication that you take with the onset of symptoms, but i tried natural, holistic things, and people are so kind and they just want to help, but when people say try some oils or peppermint or tea or acupuncture, acupressure, massage, i title everything, and none of it worked for me.

When you first took this particular drug, how quickly would you say that your migraine went away and for how long?

And are you able to predict when one comes on?

So this was the game-changer for me with this particular medication, the fact that i was able to take it at the onset.

And it's an easy dissolving tablet.

And i found in less than an hour, not only was the migraine gone, but i was able to come back from it.

Because they call it a migraine hangover.

Sometimes in the past, like if you have a really bad migraine and afterwards, it's gone and you feel foggy and tired and you just want to sleep for the day.

I'm able to take this medication and within the hour, the migraine is gone, and i have energy, no fogginess, and i'm literally able to insert myself right back into my life, even better than it was before.

So it has been a complete game-changer.

You say it has affected your personal life and i imagine that it affects your professional life as well.

When you have to be in front of the camera with bright lights, and sensitivity to light and i can't imagine that you can function in that situation.

That's the thing.

A lot of people, light is a huge trying and are once you have it, you can't be in bright lights, you have to be in the dark, so even trying to push through is not an option for a migraine sufferer.

It's like i say, completely debilitating and anyone that gets them understands that.

It's impossible.

And right now, i'm filming a tv series in atlanta talking to you.

And you have the anxiety if you're a migraine sufferer.

When will it happen?

What if i'm traveling?

What if i'm at work?

Both instances, i'm away from my family and in another state and i'm working on a series, and i'm like what happens?

But now, at least that's alleviated with me and the fact that i know i have something that i can go to really quickly and for me, i've had absolutely no side effects, and i know one of the common side affects for nertek odt is nausea.

But not for me.

My big thing, i'm sharing my story, and i'm able to take back the story and the journey, and i don't have to let the migraines, and people can go to this at hashtag nertek odt, and check it out.

You have nothing to lose, everything to gain back if it works for you.

And go to nertek odt.com.

I know a lot will be interested in.

So many of us out there, i know.

Happy holidays again.

Happy holidays.

Back after this.
