Reps for shasta county's mercy medical center say they always prepare for a surge, including additional resources to expand i-c-u capacity, if necessary.

Medical center reps says 33 i-c-u beds are open... and say10 additional can be made available.

Shasta regional medical center reports having 22 i-c-u beds and say the i-c-u is almost full.### another suspect to be on the lookout for... a prowler targeting a local college campus.

Chico state university police say this man was touching himself near an open window of a sorority house tuesday night.

Police say someone saw him and yelled and he ran off..

A short time later, someone else spotted him near another sorority house a few blocks away.
