MDOT kicks off ’12 Days of Christmas’ safety campaign

You may have heard of the ’12 Days of Christmas,’ but what about the MDOT version?

- you may have heard of the '12 - days of christmas" but- what about the m-dot version?

- drivers will receive daily- holiday-themed safety messages- until they wrap up their- campaign on christmas.- 90% of crashes happen because o- a driver's decisions- whether that's impared driving,- distracted driving, or- speeding.

- mdot created their 12 days of - christmas as a fun way to - engage the public and remind- them of safety behind - the wheel.- these messages are all evolved- around christmas- - themed movies, songs and- characters.

- this past monday kicked off thi- years campaign with an- announcement that read 'even- santa has to buckle up in ms, - its the law.'

- as for what's to come as the- countdown to christmas- begins..... - - "i think we have some really- good ones this- year, i don't want to spoil it- or anything like that.
