(WTHI) - An organization that helps people in need received a much-needed boost after a Friday morning donation Friday morning.
One local organization is helping another.
And the community comes out the winner.
The rotary club awarded the terre haute salvation army a check for one-thousand dollars.
The salvation army is looking to raise 120-thousand dollars.
Leaders say they're still 85-hundred dollars short of their goal.
Envoy sue linden with the salvation army told us you still have time to step up and help.
"just if the community can pitch in, if they can drop some change in the bucket when they're out shopping or send in a donation for five, ten, twenty, whatever they can afford would be great."
