One hospital in Morehead is requiring its staff to get vaccinated against coronavirus
Hospitals across the state have received pfizer's covid vaccine... and a second vaccine from moderna should be arriving sometime next week.
And while hospitals and facilities are vaccinating employees on a volunteer basis.... at one kentucky hospital it is mandatory.

This came after the hospital says medical staff voted on tuesday to make the vaccine an expectation for front line workers.... which not only includes doctors and nurses but environmental service workers, maintenance staff and anyone else involved in the care of covid-19 patients.
Chief medical officer william melahn says... with the hospital seeing so many critically ill covid patients... it's very important for staff to receive the vaccine.
As for those who may still be questioning the vaccine... he says they fully support it.
