"four square gospel church" in terre haute distributed "christmas food baskets" to families today.
As you can see... many people showed up to get the help.
Volunteers passed out meals "drive-thru style."
A church reverends says volunteers started preparing for this event about a week and a half ago.
He says everyone who helps does so with a cheerful heart.
"nobody gets paid for what we do.
They come out of the generosity of their time.
And again its one of those things..
Your heart feels full once your done."
He says the church will offer a basket giveaway every monday night from 6 to 7 while supplies last.
New details now about another food service in the wabash valley.
We told you about efforts to feed clay county families yesterday on news 10.
The clay county youth food program continued "christmas food" deliveries today.
Organizers now say they delivered to 8-hundred and 88-kids -- feeding 3-hundred and 57-families over winter break.
