They're again fighting for those lost benefits which.... in many cases.... is a lot of money that these workers have been counting on...to live on...and for an eventual retirement.
This rally comes a day after a big union meetingon sunday where union leaders talked about job offers the new owners, roundhill group has made to 200 of the 585 workers that were layed off during remington's bankruptcy.
Thoise 200 have to decide by 5:00 today whether to accet the offer and whethe rthey will sign off on any prior severance and vacation pay owed to them by remington under their union contract.
