Gov. Beshear Gets COVID-19 Vaccine

Kentucky's governor rolled up his sleeve to receive his vaccine today-- just one of several for bluegrass state leaders today .

Governor andy beshear - along with first lady brittany beshear ---- were along-side other state leaders--- vaccinated to help demonstrate bi-- partisan support for the new covid-19 vaccines "i would not risk my life, more importantly, i would not risk the life of my family if i did not believe the vaccine was safe so today i would like to thank first lady beshear is here to show her support and to show the people of kentucky that we truly believe that this is a vaccine that everyo9ne should for whom it is recommended."

The director of the c--d--c is recommending all governors get the vaccine as soon as possible -- to help boost vaccine confidence.

It could be a reason --- the nation's top doctor got his shot today as well.

Everyone who has the opportunity to get vaccinated so that we could have a veil of protection over this country that would ed this pandemic.

Doctor fauci adds-- he wanted to show his extreme confidence in the safety and efficiency of the vaccine.
