US Government to Buy 100 Million Additional Doses of Pfizer Vaccine.
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the purchase on Dec.
23.
According to HHS, Pfizer will manufacture and deliver up to 100 million additional doses of the vaccine to government-designated locations.
HHS added that the purchase ensures that all Americans who choose to be vaccinated can be by June.
This new federal purchase can give Americans even more confidence that we will have enough supply to vaccinate every American who wants it by June 2021, HHS Secretary Alex Azar, via statement.
