Kristen based off of the proceeding today, we more than likely will not see a winner before congress members are sworn in on the 6th of january.

Today in court, oswego county judge scott delconte analyzed ballot situations in madison chenango and oneida counties.

In madison county, 92 ballots were submitted with time stamping issues.

Those ballots were time stamped on november 4th, which is a day after election day.

So they shouldn't count.

However, based off of testimony from boe officials, delconte ruled that the ballots could have been submitted on time, but stamped incorrectly.

He then ordered the madision county board of elections to go over the 92 ballots and review when they were submitted and bring them back correctly marked to the oswego county court on january 4th.

Chenango county was found to have ballots that were challenged by both brindisi and tenney for not being properly marked.

The court then went through each ballot to determine voter intent and if the ballot was valid.

In oneida county, canvassing ballots continued at mvcc.

Today boe members went through 324 ballots and have 625 to go.

Canvassing for oneida county was scheduled to end today at 3:30pm the latest numbers from oneida county show anthony brindisi leading claudia tenney by just 14 votes.
