Firefighters received their shots at olmsted county public health ?*- both with the moderna and pfizer vaccines.
In mason city, the fire department will start getting vaccinated sometime this week.
Chief erik bullinger tells me they're relieved their turn for the shot is here.
Xxx the vaccine, being made available earlier than expected, we should be grateful that it's here already.
That is a testament in its self as to how fast we can overcome difficult situations, when we work together.
Chief bullinger says they're working with county health to get the logistics of the vaccinations figured out ?*- so every dose goes to someone who needs it.
