Cynthia white and her husband own mike's bar and grill, a small business in tupelo.
She said cutting off alcohol sales at eleven is not the norm.
"in new year's past you could actually sell up to until like, i guess one o-clock actually on new year's eve."
Because of coronavirus safety measures, bars and restaurants across the state are in the same situation.
No alcohol sales after eleven p-m.
As far as business at mike's: "it's not affecting it too bad at all."
The tupelo police department sent out a reminder on their facebook page on monday, reminding the public of the governor's executive order.
Normally, businesses could sell alcohol until much later.
"except for this pandemic, and now it's eleven, so.."
Looking ahead to new year's, white said mike's will keep doing its best.
"we'll just deal with it the best we can."
