City Cafe opens in Whitesboro

A new restaurant featuring an allergy-friendly menu, has opened in Whitesboro.

It's called City Cafe.

--- that caters to those with food sensitivities.

Everything on the menu is allergy friendly -- but you wouldn't know it by the taste.

City cafe started out as a specialty bakery.

Now -- it has a full breakfast and lunch menu.

That includes oatmeal bowls, sandwiches and more city cafe is on oriskany boulevard in whitesboro.

Everything they cook up is gluten free, dairy free and peanut free.

If you're thinking that means taste free, think again.

The owner says she just wanted to provide a safe eating experience.

6:11 we've had great feedback so far, thankfully, we've had so many people come in every day and literally thank us for being here, which is amazing .

We've had people travel from outside of syracuse to come and get our breads and baked goods and things like that.

The feedback has been awesome, we're super excited about that 6:33 city cafe is takeout only right now because of the pandemic.
