Huntsville veterans home residents, employees get coronavirus vaccine

Day that record was set.

New details - tut fann state veterans home became the second of 4 veterans home facilities in the state to vaccinate their residents and employees today.

This was the first of multiple vaccination clinics at the home - in an effort to vaccinate as many residents and employees as possible.

Employees and resident's didn't have to get the vaccine but it was highly encouraged they get it.

We are still waiting to learn how many residents and employees did get vaccinated on the first day.

We know - at a facility in alexander city - about 90- percent of the residents received their vaccines.
