A phone scam claiming to be Publisher's Clearinghouse has been reported in Scott County

Alert.jpg it appears scammers aren't waiting until the new year to get started.

He say they were winners but needed financial information to get the money to them.

They say when they started asking questions, the caller got off the phone.

With stimulus checks starting to arrive, experts say even more scams likely will surface and remind people not to give out financial information to anyone on the phone.
