Zoji La pass which normally shuts down for travelers around November 20 due to heavy snow on roads, has remained opened because of the efforts by the Border Roads Organisation.
The BRO officials continuously cleared the ice from roads in bone chilling cold and made the route available for the travelers.
Zoji La pass, national highway one delta is the most important route between Srinagar and Leh.
