(WTHI) - A local not-for-profit agency is looking for volunteers to help distribute food.

"manna from 7" gives away food "every friday" at saint stephen's church in terre haute.
"mental health america of west central indiana" was one of the groups that stepped-up to help today.
The organization's "michele orn-dorff" said feeding the community is especially important "right now".
She explained why feeding the hungry is close to her heart.
It is very beneficial for the families i see.
Very beneficial for the kids.
And this is going to feed them this weekend and that's always really close to my heart.
