After a fallout with the media and comment that his music videos were successful only because of their ‘glamour’ and beautiful women, he was hurt and decided that his next video would feature only him.
This led to the release of Tunak Tunak Tun in 1998, which featured five Daler Mehndis!
The song and the video became a huge hit not only in India but around the world, cementing his status as one of the biggest pop stars at the time.
