Over 30 new Covid vaccination centres have opened across England, including one in Blackpool Winter Gardens in Lancashire.
Vaccine nurse Robert Ward came out of retirement to help his NHS colleagues and community in administering the jabs.
He described the experience as a "story to tell the grandchildren".
