Union minister Prahlad Patel visited Delhi’s Red Fort to assess damage caused by the violence on Republic Day.
Patel, the minister for culture and tourism, said a report will be sent to union home ministry.
Patel visited the monument with officers of the ministry and Archaeological Survey of India.
He also met the kids who had participated in R-day parade and wanted to visit Red Fort.
Meanwhile, congress’ Digvijaya Singh reacted on the violence that took place during tractor rally.
The tractor parade on Tuesday turned violent as protesters broke through barriers and fought with police.
They overturned vehicles and hoisted religious flag from the ramparts of the iconic Red Fort.
The tractor parade was originally organised to highlight the demands of farmers to repeal the new agriculture laws.
