Bhartiya Kisan Union spokesperson Rakesh Tikait warned the Centre of a nationwide tractor rally.
He said that if the Centre doesn’t revoke the farm laws the farmers will go on a nationwide tractor rally with 40 lakh tractors.
Tikait said, “We have given the government time till October.
If they do not listen to us, we will go on a nationwide tractor rally with 40 lakh tractors.
We will move from one state to the other and protest will also continue here at Delhi borders.” On February 2, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut met Tikait in Ghazipur.
Raut extended support of his party and the Maharashtra government.
Raut reached Ghazipur on instructions of Maharashtra chief minister and party supremo Uddhav Thackeray.
Raut later said that Shiv Sena had opposed the farm laws since day one.
