Chennai-based Garuda Aerospace deployed drones to help NDRF's relief and rescue operations at Chamoli glacier burst site.
"NDRF has chosen Garuda to work with it in calamities.
Earlier, we sent our drones for sanitation during COVID," said Chief Operating Officer Sam Kumar.
He added, "We sent drones for locust control operations in Rajasthan and UP.
In Uttarakhand, we've sent 4 types of drones - video surveillance drone, stringing drone to transport electric cables, emergency supply drone and tunnel inspection drone."
