After training, the commandos will be a part of the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS).
The commandos for women police force are being trained with combat skills for anti-terrorism operations.
The training kicked-off at Police training college in Uttarakhand’s Narendra Nagar.
“In this project, we are training our women police commando force.
After completion of the training, they will be part of the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) team.
22 women cops are currently being trained under this project.
They are being taught combating skills for anti-terrorism operations,” said R Swarup, Director of Police Training College, Narendra Nagar.
