Surat recorded the turnout of 47.14%.
The six civic bodies- Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara, Bhavnagar and Jamnagar were being ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Ahmedabad recorded the lowest turnout of 42.51% on voting day.
