Union Minister Smriti Irani rode a scooty during a roadshow of BJP in West Bengal.
Irani, who is on a day-long visit to the poll-bound state, joined a bike rally on Friday.
The BJP minister was seen riding scooty in Panchpota area of South 24 Parganas district.
Smriti Irani was accompanied by BJP workers and party leader Roopa Ganguly.
This comes a day after Mamata Banerjee rode an e-scooter in protest against rising fuel prices.
The West Bengal CM Commuted to and from the State Secretariat Nabanna on the electric scooter.
On the way to Nabanna in the morning, the CM was seen riding pillion on the battery-powered e-scooter.
While in the afternoon, Banerjee took the driver's seat on the way to her residence in Kalighat.
While Banerjee rode the scooter at a slow speed, some security personnel followed her on foot.
Elections to the 294-member West Bengal assembly are due in march-may this year.
The eight-phase polling will start on march 27 and conclude on April 29, results on May 2.
