Hrithik Roshan visited Mumbai Police's Crime Branch office on Saturday to record statement.
This is in connection with his 2016 complaint on fake emails in his name to Kangana Ranaut.
The actor, who was summoned to appear at 11 am, left his residence in black tee and cap.
Hrithik had been asked to visit the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) at commissioner's office.
Hrithik's complaint alleged that someone was emailing Kangana from a bogus ID in his name.
The complaint was followed by a spat between the two Bollywood actors.
Hrithik had accused Kangana of harassing him by sending him hundreds of emails.
After an initial probe, police concluded that the emails were sent from Kangana's ID.
Police had recorded statement of Kangana who denied sending emails to Hrithik.
In December last year, Hrithik's lawyer had approached Mumbai police commissioner.
The probe was then transferred from Mumbai Police's Cyber Cell to Crime Branch's CIU.
Hrithik and Kangana had worked together in Kites (2010) and then Krrish 3 (2013).
