Building pressure on the central government over the rising fuel prices, the Congress on February 27, during a press briefing, showed old clips of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, then Gujarat Chief Minister, criticising the then Congress government over skyrocketing petroleum prices.
Congress national spokesperson reminded BJP of its hypocrisy over rising fuel prices, and urged the Modi government to revoke recent hikes in the fuel prices.
