A crocodile was rescued from a constriction site in Gujarat’s Vadodara.
The 11-feet-long reptile was found in a ditch in Kelanpur area on Saturday.
After rescuing, the crocodile was handed over to the forest department.
“We initially tried to rescue it manually but later we took the help of a JCB machine.
We rescued the crocodile and have handed it over to the forest department.
The crocodile was about 10-11 feet long and its weight was around 150 kgs,” Arvind Pawar, President, Wildlife Rescue Trust said.
The reptile was later released into the river following medical examination.
