Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has allotted six seats to its ally Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) to contest in upcoming assembly elections.
Thirumavalavan said, "It is important to go along with Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in this assembly polls as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) are targeting Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the absence of Kalaignar and Jayalalithaa.
We won't allow them to come to power and develop here.
We shouldn't break DMK led alliance." "We have signed for 6 seats with DMK today," VCK chief added.
Tamil Nadu will go to polls on April 6.
