Maha Shivaratri celebrations commence in Rameswaram

The flag hoisting ceremony of 12-day long 'Maha Shivaratri' festival took place at Ramanathaswamy Temple in Rameswaram.

The puja ceremony also happened at the temple and devotees also celebrated the inauguration ceremony of 'Maha Shivaratri'.
