Ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections, several people from glamour industry of the state joined Trinamool Congress (TMC) in Kolkata on March 04.
Singer Aditi Munshi joined TMC in presence of party MP Sougata Roy in Kolkata during a press conference.
She is the wife of North 24 Parganas Trinamool Youth Congress president Debraj Chakraborty.
On the other side, film actor and director Dheeraj Pandit, actor Subhadra Mukherjee and BJP leader Usha Chowdhury also joined TMC today.
West Bengal Assembly polls will be held in eight phases starting from March 27 with the final round of voting will taking place on April 29.
The counting of votes will take place on May 02.
West Bengal is likely to witness a triangular contest this time with TMC, Congress-Left alliance and the BJP in the fray.
