Weeklong cleanliness drive flagged off in Manipur

Celebrating four years of achievement of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led government in the state, Minister for Social Welfare and MAHUD, Henry Okram flagged off a weeklong cleanliness drive with awareness on the ban of single-use plastic at Kwairamband Keithel today.

The cleanliness drive is being organized by District Administration, Imphal West in collaboration with Municipal Administration Housing and Urban Development Department (MAHUD), the Government of Manipur.

Minister Henry urged the people to extend their support and cooperation for the successful implementation of various welfare initiatives taken up by the government.

He stressed that a collective effort and said dedication is the need of the hour to keep the city clean.
