Man arrested in connection with Capitol riots

New details tonight - we're working to learn more about the arrest of a man from arab in connection to the january capitol riots.

Waay31s sierra phillips spent the day talking with law enforcement and joshua james' neighbors.

Jones- "you just don't know who your neighbor is."

Right now the arab community is in on edge after one of their own was arrested in connection to the january capitol riots.

Jones- "they seemed to be okay, my kids had played with their kids."

Neighbor tim jones tells me he was shocked to see the pictures of arab man joshua james from a federal affadavit connected to the january capitol riots.

Jones- "it always happens somewhere else you never believe its going to happen here."

James is facing aiding and abetting and entering a restricted building charges in connection to the january 6th riot.

Former us attorney jay town explained that he's not alone.

Town- "pretty common charges that we're seeing come out of the events of january 6th."

Standup-- the affidavit was released just after jones' neighbors home here on brashiers chapel road was raided by the f-b-i wednesday.

Jones- "you could see the fbi emblems on their shirts and their jackets and that's when i realized this was something serious."

Town explained that from charges to sentencing it could take around 3 months for james but a judge could speed up that process.
