FOSTER KID COMPUTER
FOSTER KID COMPUTER
DONATION FOR FOSTER KID

Damaged roads...homes and the belongings of those living in places like breathitt county...including one teenager who's passion for technology was almost washed away.

Danielle saitta joins us in the studio... danielle....you talked to that teen today ... did he ever think he was going to get another computer to tinker with?

No vj...he didn't... he said a new one would cost money he didn't have, but.....you could say that through technology and social media....he was not only able to replace what he lost but also gain a friend.

Cody huff has lived in jackson with his foster family for almost 3 years..

Flood water destroyed his home and had almost destroyed his favorite hobby...tinkering with computers but thanks to social media and the generous doantion by a big brother figure in the community..huff was able to restart his passion..

With five new computers to work with.

Huff says his foster family lost almost everything in the flood so this donation means a lot to him...and inspires him to follow in the footsteps of his donor.

Cody: "i didn't think i would have enough money to get another one....i'll try to help people best i can when i get older because i've actually been helped a lot" believe it or not huff said depending on the model of the computer..he can usually fix one between 10 to 15 minutes...so i know where i'm going for tech support next time i need help.

Later tonight on abc 36 we'll introduce you to the man who gave him the computers and show you what his donation has meant to huff.
