Now that butte county's in the red tier -- gyms can open indoors..

And the oroville y-m-c-a isn't wasting any time getting going.

Action news now reporter carmela karcher joins us there live.

Carmela -- are families excited about the move?

Hayley&people that i talked with are excited to head back and get in a good workout.

At least here at the ymca&they are requiring face coverings indoors at all times.

The gym is also going to be checking temperature at the entrance and providing wipes and hand sanitizer throughout the building.

Reservations are required to enter the building in order to limit capacity.

They is also suggesting to bring your own water bottle and towel.

While many people are happy to have gyms back&others are a little concerned.

"it just depends on if they are cleaning up the equipment which is hard to keep track of with a lot of people."

Since going into the red tier& gyms are only allowed at 10% capacity.

Here at the ymca&it has only opened up their pool for lap- swimming only this past week.

The y is planning on opening indoor fitness starting next week.
