BJP candidate from Nandigram and local strongman Suvendu Adhikari filed his nomination and slammed the incumbent Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Building on the outsider tag, Adhikari said that Mamata only remembers Nandigram during polls.
He also said that the BJP would definitely emerge victorious in the polls and bring about ‘real porivorton’ in the state.
Adhikari, along with a horde of other TMC leaders switched over to the BJP in the months preceding the polls in the state.
West Bengal will vote in 8 phases between March 27 and April 29.
The results will be announced on 2ndf of May, 2021.
