Two people died after consuming bhang on Shivratri in Simrai area of UP's Sambhal, while the third is critical, said Sambhal's Superintendent of Police, Chakresh Mishra.
Informing about the situation, Sambhal SP Chakresh Mishra said, "Two people died after they consumed 'bhang' and liquor on Shivratri in Simrai area last night.
Their bodies have been sent for postmortem.
The condition of another person is critical.
An investigation has been initiated."
