Mamata Banerjee launched a scathing attack on BJP as the campaign for Bengal polls intensified.
Addressing a rally in Bankura, the West Bengal CM alleged that BJP is meddling with EC.
Mamata accused HM Amit Shah of running EC and asked if he's giving instructions to the poll panel.
“With my due respect, who is giving instructions to EC?
I hope it’s not you.
We want free and fair elections.
Who is Amit Shah to guide EC?
He is interfering in EC’s day-to-day work.
They have even removed my director security.
Do they want to kill me,” she said.
Mamata Banerjee was referring to the recent evaluation by the poll regulatory body.
Election Commission rejected the allegations of conspiracy over the Nandigram attack.
The TMC supremo also chanted 'Durga path' while speaking at the poll rally in Bankura.
Bengal will hold elections for its 294-member assembly in eight phases starting March 27.
The voting will conclude on April 29 and the counting will take place on May 2.
