News fifteens kenny darr has more on the story stand-up: for students at ul- lafayette...this upcoming fall semester may look a little different as the university announced its plans for mostly face-to-face classes this august.nat: what we want to do is really thank our university community for coming together and accepting this challenge that we had at the university when the pandemic started, of wearing their mask and keeping the safe distancing.vo: one year...a little teamwork and three available vaccines later...eric maron says the university is optimistic about a return to some sense of pre- pandemic normalcy.sot: now that w're entering this next phase where the vaccine is coming out, w're asking them to continue to do that so that we can work very hard to return to as normal as possible as was before the pandemic.vo: while the university plans to have mostly face-to-face classes...maron says safety guidelines will remain in place.sot: within that face-to- face, w're asking people to make sure they wear their masks just as the've done in the past and w're going to keep that safe distancing throughout the entire semester as well.
Vo: additional plans for the fall include the return of social events... which has some students excited.sot: 'm super excited for things to go back to normal because 'm in a sorority so w'll be able to have more events, more socials, and be able to meet more people.
