Of hard work...u-k medical students are transitioning to doctors l3: abc 36 news white uk med students learn residency program location lexington this afternoon-- graduating students with the university medical program learned their new residency location.
The event took place inside kroger field during the school's traditional match day ceremony.
Over 100 students with school will start their residency in the next few months.
Some will stay in kentucky..others like aisha jamal will be heading out of state.
She says this year was a very special learning experience for her and her classmates.
While challenging at times--jamal says it was an honor to help make a difference during a global pandemic here in kentucky.
Aisha: "this last year has been memorable in many ways i think being part of rotations when covid first hit and seeing how our response kind of evolved are definately going to stick with me i think it's been really amazing to be part of that" goldman-sachs.... under fire...
